12th August 2011

I have lost count of the number of times we have visited this restaurant in Budapest, we absolutely love it. We have so many brilliant memories of this place, spending hours here with great friends on every visit, eating, drinking and reminiscing!

Sitting on the banks of the river Danube with views of the Buda hills and Buda Castle is quite amazing. Then add fantastic traditional Hungarian food and beer, who wouldn’t like that?

I can’t resist the Gulyásleves (gulyás is herdsman, leves is soup in Hungarian). This soup, made of beef, vegetables, ground paprika and other spices is serverd with a huge basket of fresh cut bread. For a carbohydrate lover like myself, this is heaven. Accompanied by a tall glass of Hungarian beer, well what can you say?????

This is another 'must visit' if in Budapest.

For the food, the view and the past company!
