From the minute I arrived at the Orrery Restaurant to the minute I left, I was blown away. The food was fantastic, the service impeccable and the staff were incredibly attentive.
To be in the hands of the Restaurant Manager and infamous sommelier, Shana Dilworth, was a real pleasure. To chat to someone so knowledgeable about wine and food was an absolute pleasure; I am always in awe of clever people!!!

The portions weren’t big, however, the endless supply of various fresh baked breads (with salted butter, what a treat! Totally agree with Giles Coren, it has to be salted!), amuse-bouche between each course and the hand made chocolates with coffee at the end of dinner, I felt totally satisfied.

I am not going to show you pictures or tell you what I had to eat on this occsion, I believe you should visit without any preconceptions and judge the exquisite food and service for yourself. Don’t take my word for it but do write a comment if you are lucky enough to experience this classy restaurant.

The Orrery is not the lowest cost restaurant but don’t rule it out, wait for the Evening Standard offer that comes around at least once a year. It truly is worth a visit!
