1st June 2011

Having visited The Covered Market in the day, we decided on seafood for dinner. Mr B, who we were staying with in Cannes, recommended Coquillages Brun, which is about 2 minutes from the market. It was packed when we arrived at 7.30pm, which is always a good sign.

I have to admit, every single dish we ordered was fantastic, of course I’m not talking about the oysters, as I have mentioned on many occasions, I don’t like them. But Mr A does, so I can’t leave them out of my Blog. And again he thought they were good, not the best he'd had.

I don’t think I need to describe every dish; they really looked and tasted as brilliant as they appear in the pictures.

If you are a seafood lover, it’s a must when in Cannes!

As Mr A bought some huge king prawns from the fish shop attached to the restaurant, I made a chilli and prawn pasta dish for dinner the next evening. Fantastic with a couple of glasses of Malbec!
